Visibility of adonsolutions.de: findings and first wave
The agency website held 17 keywords in the top 100 and drew eight visitors a month from search. Competitors in the same results pulled between 1,500 and 22,000. The task was to find where the bottleneck actually sits, measured, not assumed.
What was done
- Data pulled through DataForSEO for the German market, complemented by Google Search Console; cost of the pull USD 0.95
- Comparison against four competitors on keywords, traffic, top-3 positions and referring domains
- Breakdown of where the current yield comes from: three guide articles, not one position on page 1
- Finding: the bottleneck is not the copy but the authority, 30 referring domains against 279 to 2,700
- First wave of changes: 63 review points, each with the quote, the text before and after, and the exact line in the file
- The before/after table is generated from the data by a script, not written by hand
- Order of genres in the marquee chosen by what the studio sells rather than raw demand, with figures for each word group
Result
- 63 points: 43 accepted, 18 accepted with amendment, 0 rejected, plus 2 findings of our own
- All raw data is kept in the project as evidence and can be recalculated
- A visibility plan for AI search systems and a draft llms.txt
